
Brother Christopher (Chris) G. Davis was elected to his first term on the Fayetteville City Council as District 6 representative in 2019. Brother Davis is a retired Commissioned Officer from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and the Senior Pastor at Force of Life, Fayetteville Ministry, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Brother Davis completed his undergraduate studies at South Carolina State University with a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Chemistry. Brother Davis holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Management from Webster University.
During Brother Davis’ military career he served as Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Engineer Embedded Combat Trainer in support of OEF 2007-2008, and Company Commander of the 174th Route Clearance Company in support of OEF 2009-2010. As a result of his leadership and service, during his 2009-2010 OEF Deployment the Soldiers of his Company were awarded 16 Bronze Stars, 14 Purple Hearts, 6 ARCOMS w/Valor, 70 Close Combat Action Badges, and over 400 other Combat and Operational related awards. Brother Davis was personally awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medal for combat wounds sustained from Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasts while leading route clearance operations in Marjah City, Afghanistan. Brother Davis is married to the lovely Demetria Davis. They have been blessed with five Children. Keana Turner, Christian Davis, Darren Davis, Britton Davis, and Regan Davis.
