Dr. Brown named Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs


Brother Dr. Lee Brown has been named Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Fayetteville State University, effective 1 August 2020. Brother Brown joined the FSU faculty in 2011 and has served in several administrative capacities. In 2015, he was appointed Associate Dean of the Broadwell College of Business and Economics. In December 2017, he was named Interim Dean of the College. Later in August of 2019, he was named Dean. Brother Brown earned his Doctorate in Strategic Management and International Business at the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University. He received a Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer University.  Additionally, Brother Brown received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University.  Brother Brown has played a pivotal role in accreditation, assessment, and community outreach initiatives. He completed a Transitioning Soldiers Workforce Analysis for the Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation and published a study on the needs of Cumberland County senior citizens that was commissioned by the Cumberland Community Foundation.
